Hemangiopericytoma is an aggressive, highly vascularized tumor orriginating from the vascular pericytes. The tumor is fast growing, tend to recur and hat h high proensity to develop distand metastases along the neuronal axis [1-4]. The tumors are most commonly found in the muscular system or the skin.

Hemangiopericytoma is a neoplasm that commonly manifests as an intracranial mass lesion.[] According to the 2007 World Health Organization classification, it is a “tumour of the meninges”[] and constitutes approximately 2% of all such tumors.[8 9] Hemangiopericytoma is a clinically malignant tumor due to its high incidence of local recurrence and extraneural metastasis, which eventually Osseous hemangiopericytoma is rare. We present a case of a 30-year-old woman with low-back pain with radiation to the left buttock for 1 month.

Imaging findings are presented and discussed. Our case indicates that MHP should be considered in the differential Introduction. Similar to the hemangiopericytoma of soft tissues in pathological features, first reported by Stout and Murray (), intracranial meningeal hemangiopericytoma (M-HPC) is a rare mesenchymal tumor, possibly of pericytic origin in the meninges, which was initially described by Begg and Garret () in 1954.

Clinically, hemangiopericytoma is usually of insidious onset. Hemangiopericytoma, first described and named by Stout and Murray in 1942, 1 is an uncommon spindle-cell tumor that pathologically displays a thin-walled vascular branching pattern. Hemangiopericytoma (HPC) is a central nervous system tumor that arises from the pericytes of meningeal capillaries. 1 These tumors are more likely to occur in males, most commonly in the fourth or fifth decade. 1 Signs and symptoms at presentation may include headache, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, and photophobia. 4 Intraventricular HPC is rare and most often found in the lateral ventricles. CT and MR imaging may serve a role in preoperative diagnosis.

Preoperative differentiation between them is important for determining the treatment and follow-up plan. The aim of this study was to determine the factors that can be used to differentiate SFT/HPC from meningioma and World Health 2020-10-13 Hemangiopericytoma has no predilection for age or sex; it was congenital in 3 of Stout's patients. In cases of thoracic hemangiopericytoma, the age range was from ten to seventy-five years, with an average of forty-six years. Hemangiopericytoma (HPC) is a central nervous system tumor that arises from the pericytes of meningeal capillaries.

Hemangiopericytoma is an unusual vascular neoplasm that arises from the pericytes of Zimmerman. It is associated with capillaries, therefore they may occur anywhere in the body.
